Initial Intake: (New Patient) Includes Diagnostic Assessment $200

Psychotherapy: (individual, couples, or family) with Dr. Hurt $200

Psychotherapy: (individual, couples, or family) with all other clinicians $150

Group Therapy: $50 per session 

​

Workshops / Courses: $50 - $100 per session (or advertised package rate)

​

Assessments: $1,400 - $4,000  (based on individual needs)

​

Telehealth: Same price as in-person

Sliding Scale:

It is the policy of Hurt and Healing Behavioral Health and Wellness to provide essential services regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. Discounts are offered based on family size and annual income. Please note, our regular fees for services range between $125 - $200 per session. We attempt to meet the needs of our clients by offering rate discounts up to 60%. Sliding scale is only available by request, and does not apply to assessments. Assessment Billing:

At Hurt and Healing, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality mental health assessment services to support your well-being. To ensure transparency and clarity regarding our fees and billing processes, we would like to provide you with important information.

Assessment Intake Fee:

When you schedule your initial appointment, you will be informed that we charge a flat fee of $200 for every assessment intake, regardless of whether you have insurance coverage. This fee is due at the time of your assessment intake appointment.

 

The Billing Process:

 

Self-Pay: If you are paying for the entire cost of assessment, you may choose to pay in 1-4 installments, all of which are due prior to the last date of testing.

 

Tricare: After the initial $200 is paid by the client, the remaining fees will be billed directly to Tricare. We will bill Tricare on/prior to the last date of testing. If Tricare deems you responsible for any more than the initial $200, we will notify you and send an invoice to be paid prior to the feedback session. If you require additional assistance with financing the remainder of charges, please let us know.

 

Insurance (other than TriCare): For all payments for assessment and other mental health services, we have partnered with Headway, a third-party billing service. After the initial $200 fee, Headway will handle the collection of payments from your insurance payor and any copays or deductibles directly from you, depending on your coverage.

 

Cost of Assessments: Assessments generally range from $1400 to $4000. The cost of your assessment varies based on the type of assessment, the amount of time required, and the specific tests deemed necessary for your evaluation. Your clinician will discuss the specifics of your assessment plan during your intake appointment.

 

Payment Responsibility: You are responsible for any outstanding balances not covered by your insurance. It's crucial to check your insurance coverage and understand any deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance that may apply to your assessment.

Alternative Financing Options:
Because the cost of assessment services may present challenges, we offer alternative financing options to help make assessment more accessible, including Care Credit. You may discuss these options with your assessment provider or our in-house Care Credit specialist. Please do not hesitate to let our staff know of any questions or concerns.
